Avila Beach is about 30 miles up the coast from Santa Maria in southern California. This small community is near the calm waters of the San Luis Obispo Bay. A beautiful shoreline, with two public piers extending from the land, overlooks the deep blue ocean. These piers provide the perfect place to sit and watch the boats out in the bay.
