Dillon Beach is located about 60 miles north of San Francisco along the coast of California. This unique beach is tucked in the southern section of Bodega Bay and is surrounded by rolling hills. This is the perfect getaway if you want to relax in a place without a lot of people. The beach itself is very large and is ideal for a morning walk along the shoreline or just lounging around and enjoying the weather. Tide pools around the rocky ends of the beach provide hours of entertainment watching the aquatic life trapped there until the next tide. Nearby Bodega Bay has both an excellent golf course and offers horseback riding along the beaches. The famous Napa Valley and Wine Country are close enough for a day trip. A day spent in San Francisco along the wharf will be enjoyable because you know you have your vacation cottage quietly waiting for you back in Dillon Beach. San Francisco also has the biggest nearby airport, San Francisco International Airport (SFO, 60miles) but you may find the Napa County Airport (APC, 40miles) to be a little calmer.
