| Located at Silver Strand Beach, just south of Channel Islands Harbor, near Oxnard California, is this very comfortable two-story beach home. It is found on a quiet side street just across Ocean Drive from the sand.
The ground level has the attached two-car garage, the washer and dryer, and direct access to the home. The living space has a large family room with cable TV, wet bar, and futon sofa. The bedroom has a queen-sized bed. The full-sized bath has a stall shower.
Upstairs is the large living room with cable TV, DVD player, and fireplace. There is a small deck that faces the street – perfect for people watching. The living room is open to the dining area that is open to the full-service kitchen. Yes, it has a dishwasher!
The ‘master’ bedroom has a queen-sized bed and cable TV. Access to the roof deck is through the bedroom.
The second bedroom has two twin-sized beds. The bathroom has a tub / shower.

Channel Islands Harbor is exactly as its name suggests, a semi-island with channels leading to a harbor. It is located between Oxnard and Oxnard State Beach both of which are about 55miles due west of Los Angeles. The vacation homes and cottages here sit right on the channels leading to the Pacific Ocean. Hollywood and Oxnard Beaches are just a short walk or bicycle ride away. These beaches are quite large and perfect for all kinds of activities from volleyball to surfing. Lifeguards are on duty during summer weekends. The harbor itself has many yacht clubs and marinas as well as unique stores, galleries and rental shops. Deep sea fishing charters can be arranged here and Penninsula Park, within the harbor, has two tennis courts available to the public. Golfers will be happy that the Port Hueneme Golf Course is just east of the harbor along Channel Islands Blvd. After a full day of enjoying the warm breeze from the ocean, sit down at one of the many fine restaurants in Channel Islands Harbor. Going on a vacation to warm southern California and being right on the water is a combination that can not be beat. We hope you enjoy your stay! The Los Angeles International Airport (LAX, 60miles) is the largest nearby airport to Channel Islands Harbor.
