Dollar Point is located on the northwestern shores of Lake Tahoe. This beautiful lake is known for its pristine waters and being surrounded by magnificent mountains. The summer activities here on the lake are almost boundless. There are paved trails along the lake for bicyclists and mountain bike enthusiasts will love the trails in the mountains. Hiking and nature trails also wind their way through the valleys and ridges around Dollar Point. Equestrians will enjoy an afternoon horseback ride along trails with spectacular views of the area. If you are not staying on the water there are plenty of public beaches to explore and local marinas will set you up with a boat to play on the water with. Wintertime doesn’t slow down this alpine getaway. Ski slopes open their runs to downhill skiers and snowboarders, and Nordic ski centers will help you pick a good trail for your abilities. After a cold day on the slopes, come back to your vacation cottage and take a nice soak in a hot tub while you prepare to head out for dinner at one of the areas fine dining facilities. Dollar Point is the perfect place to do everything or do nothing. Here on Lake Tahoe, the choice is yours. The Lake Tahoe Airport (TVL, 27miles) and the Reno – Tahoe International Airport (RNO, 40miles) are the closest airports to Dollar Point.
